Hi there,
I'm April
First of all, I hate taking about myself. I find it very strange. But of for the sake of you knowing who I am, I’ll try and some myself up. I became a photographer by accident when I was about 20 years old. I say by accident because people were offering to pay me to photograph their families long before I considered myself a photographer and long before I was a legitimate business girlie.
That was almost 20 years ago now. Yikes!
I spent several years chasing destination weddings all over the world. It was a blast! Along the way I met Ron Wainscott who owned Shore Shooters Beach Photography and I started doing some contract work for him. Before I knew it, I was a partner in a company that was contracting about 100 photographers across several states. I kept pursuing personal projects but less and less as the years went on. This space you have landed on today is my version “beach portraits”. It’s the way I personally see families and a space for me to keep the high volume business that I’m very proud of, small. Small enough that it is a direct reflection of my style.
